I am a graphic experimenter, with classical training in plastic arts and graphic design.
My areas of experimentation have spanned monumental metal sculpture, comics and cartoons,
even painting exhibitions and art direction for video games or art documentaries.
The greatest motivation is to absorb the utmost spirit of each moment and to try to express
my artistic vision through different graphic languages.
What had the greatest impact on you in Mashpi?
My experience of visiting Mashpi was the closest I’ve been to a fantastical world:
unexpected torrential rains and then a sun that illuminates all; fantastical beings, giant snails,
enormous centipedes, thousands of exotic birds and the close encounter with three tayras
playing hide-and-seek with our cameras. A landscape of eternal forest, surrounded by trees
as far as the eye can see. After walking in the mud of the rain forest, slipping and falling
among the vegetation, finishing the trail exhausted, arriving back at the hotel is literally
like coming to the best ever rest, the service, the installations, the menu with local
delicacies and above all the warmth of the Mashpi team, are wonderful memories that
all who visit this beautiful natural reserve take away.
