Today Joselito invited us to be part of his work in the Life Centre and in his collection of butterfly eggs. The eggs collected today are from the Parides arcas butterfly, and Joselito tells us that they will be hatched in around five days’ time. To find the diminutive eggs of this butterfly Joselito searches for the host plant where the adults deposit eggs. It is here that with great delicacy and using tweezers he collects the eggs one by one and stores them in the laboratory in the Life Centre. Here we leave the little eggs that soon will become butterfly larvae!
